Note : prices are for feathers only, headdress is not included.
Feathers can be straightened with a hot iron.

HISTORY
* there is conjecture about the origin of the emu plumes, the version appears to be less fanciful is the versions which speak of horseman galloping down emus
and pulling feathers from their tails while on the run at the 1891 strike by workers in the wool growing industry.
* Feathers growing near base of spine (tail) differ from those covering rest of bird; they have longer barbs and are set wide apart, giving appearance of a mop-like tail.
