HIRE A BAND OR
MUSICIAN
The Queensland
Services Heritage Band Association (QSHBA) is an incorporated not for profit
organisation working in the community and with school and community bands.
The QSHBA constitution requires it to manage a band or bands on a non profit
basis for the betterment of the community.
QSHBA can provide Marching Bands, Drum Corps, Concert Bands, Swing Bands, Wedding Quintet as well as individual musicians such as Buglers, Drummers and Pipers for special and/or ceremonial occasions.
What a surprise it would be to have a marching band
to play “Happy Birthday”
However it does cost money to purchase
equipment. Music and transport etc. therefore QSHBA must have fees for its
services although some clients who are also registered charities may have
fees waived. Basic band
performance up to 30 minutes $500.00 60 minutes $750.00
60+ minutes $900.00 Performances
involving overnight stays are also possible however transport and accommodation
must also be considered Wedding quintet $500.00 Individual
bugler, piper of drummer $200.00 plus
excess travel All costs
may be negotiated for special cases
