During 2006 the
re-organization was taking place. The band downsized to allow for consistency
of attendance and available repertoire.
As you can see no uniforms were available
yet. We are growing and the journey has begun.

This first resurrection of the QMI band
as a civilian band was in August 2005 at the Brisbane VP Day (Victory in
the Pacific) commemorating the 60th anniversary of the end of WWII. We performed
in conjunction with the Logan
City Brass Band who provided the majority of members. We had the
privilege of backing Mr Normie Rowe for the singing of "Advance
Australia Fare" These photos are of the rehearsal prior to the
concert.
