2010 is another excellent year in our development.
At
the first Youth band rehearsal - new volunteers arrived to start the 2nd new starters
Band and the Senior youth band now has secondary school
students.
In
march, we recorded and made the initial release or our first 1st. CD
On
ANZAC Day Stuart debuted the future Marching Uniform for QMIHTB
June
saw
us run our first state competition with the Queensland Band Association and the
Gold Coast Bandfest . At this event we saw the debut the formal dress
uniform and the "Queensland Show Band" Congratulations go to The
Bayside Combined School's Band and the Drum Corps for entering their first
competition Congratulations to those individual members who appeared as
soloists

OUR LOGO
- The centre piece is our
Commonwealth Countries international symbol of civilian community
musician. The two swords symbolize our military heritage whilst the
boomerang symbolizes the heritage of our country and is an
internationally recognized icon of Australia. This is all surrounded by
our name and symbolizes our all inclusive ethos. |
