An album of tunes played in unison using only two, three notes. Duets are introduced with the forth note and trios with the fifth note. Quartets and full sectional arrangements are also introduced at this point. An excellent folder of music for getting beginners to play together and without gaps. F horn is in both unison pitch and "more achievable pitch" Percussion is published with Mallets, Timps, Drums & Auxiliary in the one folder. |

A medley of four simple three note tunes, all played in unison across the Band. An easy piece to get off the ground.
Lower Brass comes in both G clef and F clef Parts. Glockenspiel part comes in both upper octave or lower octave to suit different teaching methods.
Fingering diagrams for the notes used are show at the bottom of the page. Breath marks and bar numbers are shown but no key signatures, ties, slurs, articulations or dynamics.

The sequel to "First Concert Medley" - this one now has four notes (Concert A, Bb, C & D) and has the new tunes "Watermelon Custard" "Lindy Loo" " On the Beach" " Here Comes Fred" "Let's all hit the Floor". Now it is also a duet with all Part A instruments in unison and, all Part B instruments in unison. Can be play by any combination of instruments and ensemble type. Parts are in all pitches and clefs. Alternative parts are included for different teaching methods. Definitely the 2nd easiest chart in the catalogue. |

Constructed in 1st. & 2nd. parts using the range concert A Bb C D Eb E F G, 2nd parts do not have the Concert E and not all players use the lower note Concert A. As the Con E & Eb are generally consecutive, this is an excellent chart for teaching not only Rumba rhythm but also for correct use of chromatic alternative fingering and learning the difference. Rhythm includes semibreves, minims, semibreves tied to minims, crotchets, grouped quavers or single quavers paired with dotted crotchets. All sections get a go at melody. Form is - Intro A B A C A coda. passages B & C are optional Solo or section soli. The intro. and the bass line are melodies in there own right also. |
